Baden-Württemberg-African Science Collaboration

How can digitalization contribute to a more resilient global health?

BW_i and AIMS invite (young) scientists from Africa and the German state of  Baden-Württemberg to participate in a two-part series of virtual conferences in April 20th and 21st 2021 and in June, followed by a face-to-face conference in 2022 in Baden-Württemberg.

The virtual Conference in April will be dedicated to the question:  “How can digitalization contribute to a more resilient global health?”: In addition to expert key notes and discussions, the Conference’s goal is to facilitate networking among the participants and experts through different ways, such as idea pitches, speed “matching” , virtual casual coffee lounges and workshops. With these mutually beneficial interactions we hope to create an environment for fruitful discussions around potential collaboration ideas and projects.

Meet and exchange with scientist from Africa and Baden-Württemberg in the fields of health and digitalization at the online conference AND use the chance to find new contacts and potential collaboration partners!

Virtual Delegation Visit in June

Matches and interested collaboration teams  from the conference are cordially invited to the virtual Delegation visit in June. It will allow more insights into the science landscape of the partners as well as exclusive time for working on project ideas. Promising projects can be partly funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg.

We are looking forward to your participation and contribution!
