In the past 10 years, Baden-Württemberg International has contributed substantially in all areas to the international development of Baden-Württemberg as a business, education and research location. This contribution has included:

• activities for opening new markets in more than 50 states involving 2,500 companies from Baden-Württemberg and more than 30,000 companies from abroad

• settlement of 250 companies in Baden-Württemberg

• processing of 25,000 cooperation inquiries

• building up of international networks in business and research

• administration of the Baden-Württemberg scholarship for students

• international projects (with a volume of €80 million) covering business promotion, professional education, management education and technology transfer
